ELEVATE the love and respect for the arts in the Phoenix community..

ENGAGE Phoenix youth through dance, physical activity and an overall human connection to inspire social acceptance. Providing and arts and humanities experience for children across levels of ability and socioeconomic backgrounds.

ENCOURAGE community service and cultural development while teaching young dancers self-confidence, manners and respect for peers.

Our goal is to provide dance education, costumes, sets and preparation for The Nutcracker Suite to children at a minimal cost. Starting in 2015, PYBT has expanded our community outreach to local organizations to provide dance and theater opportunities to children with special needs. To achieve this goal we rely on fundraising activities, sponsorship from the community and performance ticket sales.

Our annual production of "The Nutcracker Suite" is planned for November 16-20th 2016.

Dancers from our outreach program at United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona are invited to perform on a scholarship basis.

The Pain Center of Arizona was the first sponsor of the Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre in 2009. When attending The Nutcracker with my young daughter, I was moved with the talent of the young dancers partnered by dance professionals. The production consisted of the backdrops, crew, lighting and sound engineers, etc. The PYBT Nutcracker perfomance is one of the highest caliber. The quality of training shines through and you can feel the confidence in the perfomance of the young dancers. At the Pain Center of Arizona, we have had the pleasure of the training family members associated wih PYBT and strive to relieve their pain and help them to Get Back into Life and Dance! --- Abram H. Brownie Troop 1873 had so much fun earning their Dancer badge with Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre. After watching a fantastic performance of the Nutcracker, the girls went on a backstage tour with Director Miss Sam. The girls were thrilled to be onstage! They then had a 30 minute dance class that was led by some performers and teachers. The girls delighted in learning their 5 positions of dance, how to plie and turns. We had so much fun. Thank you Phoenix Youth Ballet!
